Best present I've gotten in recent memory November 20, 2008 Christopher Mactaggart 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My wife gave me a thyme Eggling in June. It sits on the windowsill of my office and has grown to be roughly 1.5 feet wide. It's about time to transplant it into a pot. I love these things.
Not worth the cost September 30, 2008 E. Ramirez 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought several egglings and gave them as gifts. My plants never grew and the ones I gave as gifts never grew. It's a cute idea that doesn't work.
Interesting Idea, but no plant April 15, 2008 A.M.C. (Seattle, WA USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I liked the idea of an egg planter you can crack open, and so did my kids. They got a kick out of cracking them with a spoon, but it went downhill from there. Got these for my kids for Easter along with Nyokki grass pets. Although grass does grow more quickly than herb seeds, it has been several weeks and no sign of a sprout in the egglings. The grass, on the other hand, has grown 6 inches tall. Both types of kits were kept under full spectrum lights, so they should have grown by now. If nothing sprouts soon, I'm going to put in some of my own seeds.
